Saturday Afternoon Poetry is here for you! We meet EVERY Saturday in the NEWLY REMODELED backroom of the NEWLY REMODELED Santa Catalina Branch of the Pasadena Public Library on 999 E. Washington Blvd. between 3pm and 5pm. Here's our schedule:

Poetry reading virgin Phil Turner from Pasadena City College demonstrated a strong knowledge of poets past and passion present.

Michelle Angelini related the benefits of turning 60.

New reader Rally "Chad" Lilly exhorted the "Wonder of the Wondership".

CaLokie AKA Carl Stilwell added to his repertoire a poem of great philosophy entitled "Descartes".

Scott Kaestner debuted poems like "The Lover's Playbook" from his new tome "A Life in the Day of a Poet".

Mina Kirby put everyone in a holiday mood with her sweetly angular song "Christmas Quadrilaterals"!

First-time visitor Mari Werner dissed "North Hollywood" enough to make the audience understand her move to Montrose.

Erika Wilk had "No Sleep" and we enjoyed it.

Maja Trochimczyk wowed us with her poetic rendition of "Look At Me".

Finally special guest Mark States heroically slammed he's "Gray And Proud" in "The Linoleum Jungle"!
