Since 1996, Saturday Afternoon Poetry has been here for you! We meet EVERY Saturday between 3pm and 5pm PST (unless otherwise indicated). Here's our general schedule:

First Saturday - Poetry Writing Workshop

Second Saturday - Poetry Critique Workshop

Third Saturday - Featured Poets + Four Feathers Press Online Edition Reading

Fourth Saturdays - Publishing Party + Four Feathers Press PDF/Print Edition Reading

FOUR FEATHERS PRESS WANTS TO PUBLISH YOUR POETRY!

SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA WINDOWS

Submit up to three poems of no more than 150 lines each (including stanza breaks) on the subject of windows to donkingfishercampbell@gmail.com by 11:59pm PST, April 5th, 2025. JPG photos may also be sent but are not required. Poems chosen will be anthologized in PDF form and distributed for free to those poets by the publication reading on Saturday, April 26th, 3 to 5 pm in the meeting room of the Lamanda Park Branch Library on 140 S. Altadena Dr. in Pasadena. Perfect bound printed copies of the book may be ordered for $10 a copy (pick it up at the reading or include $5 if you wish it to be shipped) until April 12th, 2025

FOUR FEATHERS PRESS ONLINE EDITION: POINT UP

Send up to three poems on the subject of or at least mentioning the words point and/or up, totaling up to 150 lines in length, in the body of an email message or attached in a Word file to donkingfishercampbell@gmail.com by 11:59 PM PST on April 18th. No PDF's please. Color artwork is also desired. Please send in JPG form. No late submissions accepted. Poets and artists published in Four Feathers Press Online Edition: Point Up will be published online and invited to read at the Saturday Afternoon Poetry Zoom meeting on Saturday, April 19th between 3 and 5 pm PST.
