Saturday Afternoon Poetry is here for you! We meet EVERY Saturday in the backroom of the Santa Catalina Branch of the Pasadena Public Library on 999 E. Washington Blvd. between 3pm and 5pm. Here's our schedule:

Saturday, April 14th, 3 to 5 pm - THE BIG WRITE (Meet writing challenges, win prizes!) plus Free-to-enter SPECTRUM 2018 POETRY BROADSIDE CONTEST winner announced and featured. (To enter, email a poem up to 50 lines long to kingfisher1031@charter.net by April 7th. Winner gets 25 copies of their poem broadsided at this event.)

Saturday, April 21st, 3 to 5 pm - THE BIG PUB (Chapbook reading and exchange: give out X copies of your chapbook, go home with chapbooks by X different poets!) plus Free-to-enter SPECTRUM 2018 POETRY CHAPBOOK CONTEST winner announced and featured. (To enter, email 10 poems, each no more than 40 lines long to kingfisher1031@charter.net by April 7th. Winner gets 25 copies of their chapbook at this event.)

Saturday, April 28th, 3 to 5 pm - THE BIG SLAM (Performance contest: be ready to perform up to three of your own poems, win prizes!) plus Free-to-enter SPECTRUM 2018 POETRY BOOK CONTEST winner announced and featured.
